Walked out on shitty management refusing to fix vital equipment (aka the hot water heater), by law it should have been closed without hot water. Instead chasing pennies the owner decided to stay open. The water tank also was leaking bad into the wall, inside the wall it’s probably mouldy AF. Being cheap he refuses to get it fixed. That was last thing I wanted to deal with. I did not mind minor things breaking, but that was the last straw. I have a interview lined up tomorrow or early next week so I’ll be laughing at them with more money & things (pension, benefits, group insurance, etc).

A small factory that build s mostly router tables, router table accessories & accessories for other  shop tools (table saw, band saw, etc) .

Yes, but the Gov’t has CPP (Canadian Pension Plan) that comes off each pay check if the employer does not pay pension. So regardless of the work here you get it.

Same as social security in the U.S. Hopefully the new company offers a RRSP plan (and some level of matching). CPP will not be anywhere close enough to retire on.
